Ex-wife of Ghanaian footballer Majeed Waris, Habiba Sinare, has issued a strong warning to people coming for her, following her recent interview about Northern Men and how difficult it is to be married to them.
According to her, people who wish to come for her can go ahead and do so but should exclude her mother.
This statement follows her statement of never marrying a Northerner again during an interview with Ms Gee.
In the interview, she revealed that her ex-husband, Majeed Waris, always prioritized his family over their relationship, causing her a lot of pain.
During the interview she said, “He told me he wouldn’t choose me over his family. That sentence still echoes in my life. When he said that, I thought, ‘Wow, I wasn’t family after all. I told him, ‘I’m done. There’s nothing left. I don’t feel anything for you any more”.
Some people have however disagreed with her generalization of Northern men and called her out, some also criticized her and blamed her mother for disrespecting Northern men despite being a Northerner.
The actress emphatically stated that she is ready to defend herself and her mother they are disrespected.
In a post on social media she said, “If anyone dares to insult or drag my mother into the this again, I will retaliate. And if you try involving my husband, expect an equally swift response. I won’t hesitate to meet you at your level and outdo you. Enough of this nonsense!”.
