Alleged ill health of Asante Bediatuo’s sparks death rumors

Rumors of the ill health condition of the Executive Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, Nana Bediatuo Asante has sparked several rumors with some alleging to him passing away.

Reports indicates that Bediatuo has been ill for some time now with one claiming he has passed away without providing any details, this claim has however been denied alleging he rather suffered a massive stroke in US.

It is alleged that he underwent a 10-hour brain surgery in the US, Bediatuo was part of a delegation who accompanied President Akufo-Addo at the United Nations General Assembly in New York where it is claimed he felt ill.

Attempts to reach the President’s Communications Director, Eugene Arhin, for confirmation or otherwise has proven futile.

Nana Bediatuo Asante was appointed quite recently as Ghana’s Ambassador-at-Large by President Akufo-Addo.
