Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has been accused of being responsible for the delay caused in the passage of the anti-LGBTQI+ bill.
According to netizen with X handle @Gen_Buhari_ the Speaker of Parliament is the one asking for extension of time to file parliament’s statement of case in response to Richard Sky case in the matter of Anti-LGBTQI since September 9th.
He claims till date, Alban Bagbin and his lawyers have not file any statement in response to Richard Sky’s case.
He further accused sponsors of the bill, especially Sam George, the MP for Ningo Prampram for knowing this and yet refusing to tell Ghanaians about it.
