Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, has accused former President Mahama of the killing the late President John Evans Atta Mills.

She also accused the the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of trying to undermine her, and promised to sue him (Mahama) for utterances targeted at her.

Addressing the floor during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting, Akua Donkor said, “I am saying it today, if Mahama says he is a (former) President I am taking him to court. I am going sue him for Ghc 2 trillion. I will sue him for 2 trillion.”

According to Akua Donkor, she sees no reason for Mahama to say some Presidential candidates should not have passed through the vetting process of the Electoral Commission (EC).

“He should tell me if he is the one who gave me the money to form my (political) party. I didn’t even know him then. How can he say he doesn’t see why I was passed by the EC to be a Presidential Candidate. Why am I not a human being?” she queried.

John Dramani Mahama on Sunday, October 13, criticized the Electoral Commission (EC) for disqualifying the People’s National Convention (PNC) presidential candidate from the 2024 race.

Speaking at a durbar in Nabullo, Sissala East, in the Upper West Region Mahama argued that some of the candidates allowed to contest do not measure up to Bernard Mornah, whom he considers a more formidable opponent.

Although he did not mention any names, Akua Donkor insists John Mahama was referring to her.

Akua Donkor argues a court suit will force Mahama to name candidates he (Mahama) believes Bernard Mornah is better than.

“I am saying he is the one who killed Atta-Mills,” she abruptly stated.

Upon making this abrupt statement, Hassan Ayariga, Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC) and others close to her stopped her in her tracks by taking the microphone from her and forcing her back into her seat.
