Part of the statement reads, “This was sequel to the combined and coordinated efforts of the Ghanaian Anti-Human Trafficking Police, Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) Ghana, and the Nigerian High Commission in Accra”.

The statement indicated that the rescued young girls, ages 18 to 29, come from various states in Nigeria and were lured to Ghana with the pretense of providing them with jobs.

Meanwhile, Traffickers have been warned more than ever that Ghana is no longer a haven for them.
