Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo has issued a strong warning to flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The MP accused Dr. Bawumia of going against all the principles of Islam, citing the Presidential Candidate’s indulgence in drinking and eating pork.
“For those of you in the zongo community they will come and tell you Dr. Bawumia is a Muslim. Today, those of you who are close to Dr. Bawumia I want you to go and tell him…he started by drinking wine and we forgave him. He progressed to drinking whiskey and started dancing off beat and walking carelessly,” he stated at a campaign event.
He accused Dr. Bawumia of now enjoying pork as a delicacy however, he warned him (Dr. Bawumia) against becoming a dog meat lover.
“Tell him (Dr. Bawumia) that the people of Bolga have told me to come and tell him, led by our leader Clement Apaak who is the dog eaters association of Ghana and international, Clement Apaak that if he (Dr. Bawumia) makes a mistake and joins the eating of dogs, we will beat him in Bolga,” he declared.
Dr. Bawumia started drinking wine, progressed to drinking whiskey and started dancing off beat and walking carelessly. He should stop at eating pork.
