The Presidential candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has hit back at claims made by Dr. Bawumia of creating two million jobs under the Akuffo-Addo Bawumia administration.

The NDC flagbearer stated there is no evidence to support their claims of creating 2 million jobs.

During a campaign tour in Asutifi North in the Ahafo Region, Mahama dismissed the claims saying, “We cannot be deceived by the unemployment rate, under the NDC administration it was 8.4% but it has since risen.

“Despite the president and vice president claiming to have created over two million jobs, I ask where these jobs are and how many have reached the residents.”

He added, the 24-hour economy police will create job opportunities for the youths of Ghana.
