Thunder will strike anyone who refuses to hand over power if NDC wins the election – John Mahama

John Mahama the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said nobody can sabotage the will of Ghanaians in the 2024 elections.

Speaking during a campaign event, Mr Mahama said it is not in anybody hand, to say that when the people of Ghana have expressed their will for that person to say we shall not hand over power.

The former president further declared that “When they have said the NDC has won the election and you say you won’t hand over, thunder will strike you. There you will see the anger of the people of Ghana,” he stated.

The presidential candidate of the NDC furthermore stated that “everybody says Ghanaians are peaceful people; Ghanaians are dossal but let us win the elections and some nincompoops say they will not hand over there you will see the other side of Ghanaians,” he stated.

Going into the 2024 elections, several members of the ruling NPP including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo have made it known publicly that he wants to hand over to the NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
