What was promised to be a peaceful demonstration in the ongoing Enough is Enough demonstration organized by the national democratic congress (NDC) has turned chaotic in Kumasi. One of the party supporters has been arrested during a clash with the police service prompting the use teargas to disperse the demonstrators.
The protest, organized by the NDC, escalated into violence when tensions flared between the demonstrators and the police.

While the exact cause of the confrontation remains unclear, one protester sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
In the heat of the moment, some protesters attempted to attack a police officer who sought refuge in a nearby house. Another officer was also injured after being assaulted by protesters.
The situation remains tense, with authorities working to restore order in the area.
