Ghanaian defender, Alidu Seidu scored the only goal for the side – his debut goal for the country – in the first half of the game.

In the dying minutes of the game Nigerian defender Oumar Sako equalised for the home team.

Ghanaians are left contemplating the reappointment of Otto Adoo as head coach of the Black Stars despite unconvincing results.
