Media personality Blessed Godsbrain Smart, known as Captain Smart, has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of resorting to superstitious practices in their quest to secure a favorable ballot position for the upcoming December 7 presidential elections.

‘’the NPP was jumping from one voodoo to another to secure the number 8 during the Electoral Commission’s (EC) balloting for the upcoming December 7, presidential elections ‘’.

His comments came following the Electoral Commission’s (EC) balloting on Friday evening, September 20, 2024.

During the balloting, Evans Nimako, the NPP’s Director of Elections, picked the party’s number, resulting in the NPP securing the coveted number 1 spot on the ballot paper.

In contrast, the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), drew the 8th position, while the All People’s Congress (APC) candidate, Hassan Abdulai Ayariga, landed in 9th place.

Other positions included Kofi Akpaloo of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) in 5th, Nana Akosua Frimpomaa of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) in 7th, and Kofi Koranteng, an independent candidate, in 10th. The New Force Movement, led by Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar), was assigned the 12th position, while the Movement for Change will appear last at number 13.

During an interaction on the show “Maakye” on NUA TV, Captain Smart alleged that the NPP had sought to secure the number 8 position through visits to a fetish priest, hoping to enhance their chances of winning in the upcoming elections.

“They were aiming for number 8, but it didn’t go in their favor,” he claimed.

Eeii hmm 🤔 Interesting days ahead, Prophet Captain Smart exposes the NPP for jumping from one voodoo to another all because the wanted number 8 on the ballots sheet but anfa because Bawuliar visited a shrine.
