In an interview on TV3’s NewDay on the arrest and court remands of the protesters Ellen Ama Daaku stated the protester were not law abiding and there is no evidence that the police abused the protesters.

“We are just trying to escalate this issue when there’s no issue. The protesters are the ones claiming they have not been given food and water and also refused legal counsel where is the evidence that what they are saying is true? These protesters are a group of hooligans who decided to go on a protest and misbehave.” She reiterated.
