The Gomoa West Constituency Chairman of the NDC, Alhaji Kassim Mohammed together with two others have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service.

The three were arrested over violent disturbance that left one person injured in Apam, Central Region on September 16, 2024, were they armed themselves with weapons and disrupted the commissioning of District Roads Improvement Programme (DRIP).
Alhaji Kassim Mohammed, Stephen Cobbinah, and Joseph Mensah are currently in police custody soon to arraigned in court to face charges.
The Ghana police is however on the lookout for the remaining suspects.
