The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed that his heart and soul are about Ghana and wants to lift the country to a new level.
Speaking at one of his campaign tours, Dr. Bawumia stated,” my heart and my soul are about Ghana, I want to move Ghana to a different level regardless of which political party you support”.
Dr. Bawumia added his heart is about supporting the poor and the vulnerable in the society, who don’t usually have a voice.
“Look at my track record in government and before government you will see that many of the things I try to do are to lift up the poor and vulnerable in society, I find myself as the patron of the lepers association”, Dr. Bawumia reiterated.
The Presidential candidate furthermore said he has championed the issue of dialysis for Kidney patients because of the nature of the disease and the cost of treatment
