Major Disruption at Darkuman as a Gas Tanker Overturns

A gas tanker has overturned near the Cable and Wireless intersection at Darkuman.

The incident occurred on Friday, 27 September 2024, sparking major disruption and raising concerns of a potential explosion.
The cause of the accident remains unclear, but the busy intersection has been cordoned off as emergency services respond.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) swiftly deployed officers to the scene, where they are currently working to cool the tanker and avert any possible ignition.
