Mahama sees 8th spot on ballot paper as an opportunity for change

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has expressed excitement over the party’s placement in the eighth position on the 2024 presidential election ballot.

This follows the balloting exercise conducted by the Electoral Commission on  Friday, September 20, 2024.

In a Facebook post on Saturday,  September 21, 2024, Mahama highlighted the positive symbolism of the number eight, viewing it as a representation of hope and change for the NDC as the nation prepares for the December 7, 2024 elections.

He urged all party supporters to embrace the significance of this position on the ballot.

“I am excited that we picked No. 8 on the ballot for the upcoming presidential elections. Let’s make this a number of hope and change on 7th December,” he wrote.
