Chairman Wontumi the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused retired Commissioner of Police (COP) Nathan Kofi Boakye of training NDC thugs to perpetrate violence in the upcoming December polls.
“… Kofi Boakye, if there is any disturbance here, we will hold you responsible. This place belongs to us. You were lobbying for the IGP position in an NPP government, and today you are the one training NDC mercenaries to perpetrate violence.
I am going to deal with you. I am stronger than you, I will deal with you, Kofi Boakye. Region during the 2024 polls”, he stated on Wontumi radio.
Chairman Wontumi declaration is in reaction to the NDC nationwide “Enough is Enough” demo held on Tuesday to push for a forensic audit of the 2024 voters register.
