Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu, has invalidated rumors claiming that he has re-married another woman following news of his ex-wife getting married again.
A picture circulating on social media lately shows Kwaku Manu with a woman, which netizens have claimed is his new wife, however, in a video he posted to his Instagram page, the actor refuted the marriage claims saying, “I’ve seen the picture of me with a lady circulating and people are saying she’s my wife or girlfriend. Please note there is no truth in that”.
He added, “You all know it’s not every issue that I bother to address but this particularly has had some of my loved ones calling me to express disappointment about why I got married again and did not inform or invite them and looking at how some people are also arguing in comment sections about this, I had to clarify”.
According to Kwaku Manu, the woman is a total stranger and he does not know how people managed to get him with her in that photo as he has never met her in his life.
“I’ve never met the lady. As to whether she’s Ghanaian, Togolese, South African, Ga or whatever, I have no idea because I have never even met her in my life. If she’s on Facebook or TikTok, I don’t know and I don’t even know her handle”, he emphatically stated.
Kwaku opined that the picture may have been circulated by blogs with the aim of growing their pages, and went on to plead with such blogs to desist from publishing lies about people just to reach a wider audience and drive traffic to their websites.
