Founder and Leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar), has spoken against the violence embarked on by the Democracy Hub demonstrators.

Cheddar believes Ghanaians can register their displeasure about everything and anything peacefully.

Chastising members of the Democracy Hub, he advised them against violence saying, “Please, violence, I don’t believe in it. Whatever you guys are doing, protesting and all of this, I can’t support you, and I’m advising you that that’s not the right way.”

The three-day demonstration organized by the 9Democracy Hub turned violent as demonstrators blocked roads leading to the central business district of Accra.

The demonstrators also burned tires and paraphernalia of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the streets.

YAbout 42 of these protestors were arrested and arraigned before court and all had their bail denied, with another appearance before the courts being slated for 8th October.
