During the balloting process, the Director of Elections for the NPP, Evans Nimako was seen picking multiple ballot numbers, but later dropped one after being reprimanded, with many describing the balloting process as unfair.

Now, a new video has resurfaced which shows Evans Nimako supposedly swapping the original number he picked, replacing it with the number 1. This has raised questions about the process, insinuating that the balloting process was rigged to favour the NPP, and ensure them earning the number 1 spot on the ballot paper.
