Also, economic mismanagement, and a sense of hopelessness that many feel under the current government, has been a cause for concern.
Critics argue that despite having ample resources, the government has failed to deliver meaningful socio-economic development, leading to increasing despair among the populace.
This expression likely exaggerates to emphasize the perceived severity of the situation.
