Another disturbing video has surfaced on social media as some Ghanaians are seen engaging in the destruction of the forest, another menace reeking the country’s vegetation and natural resources.

The video reveals over 20 men engaging in illegal logging. Although the exact location is unknown, the footage shows felled trees and excavated lands.

The men, seemingly unafraid of repercussions, filmed themselves boasting about their invincibility.

The video has flared outrage on social media with people calling on the Ghana Police Service to take action against those involved in illegal practices.

Just as the country seems to be fighting galasmey, illegal logging is potentially on the rise posing a serious threat to the environment like deforestation, habitat loss and widespread environmental degradation.
