Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has predicted that a political party is on its path to defeat in the December 7, 2024 general elections.
According to him, the said party on the path to defeat is so full of themselves that he doubts they even see themselves losing the elections.
“Some people are on their way to defeat but I believe they are not aware. I doubt they are aware,” he stated.
In a sermon to his congregation, he charged them to always rely on God alone and never seek help from other sources, except God.
“If you go before God for help, then rely on him alone, don’t go anywhere else. You can’t seek help from the Prophet of the God of Samuel and go for help of a witch. If you do so, God will reject you,” he added.
Many Ghanaians have attributed this sermon to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
This is in reference to his visit to a shrine where libation was offered and the blessings of the gods was sought on his (Dr. Bawumia) behalf during a community campaign in Greater Accra.
