Democracy hub protests despite court ban

Some Ghanaian youths have hit the streets of Accra to protest their displeasure against the Akufo-Addo Bawumia led government.

The court on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, announced its decision to ban Democracy Hub from protesting through a statement.

Despite the ban protestors have kicked off their protest at the Liberation Road Roundabout.

The Ghana police main issue about the protest was with the choice of Revolutionary Square, located in front of Jubilee House, as the protest venue.

The security services this morning set up roadblocks from the 37 Military Hospital to Jubilee house.
