Danpare is morally bankrupt – Henry Osei Akoto

Former parliamentary aspirant for Oforikrom constituency Henry Osei Akoto,has slammed the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare over his handling of the police service.

This comes on the back of the arrest of Democracy Hub protesters, a demonstration which was aimed at demanding immediate actions against galamsey resulted in a violent clash between the police and protesters at the 37 Intersection in Accra.
Reports indicated that several protesters were arrested including a pregnant woman and a minor.
The police has however refuted claims of the arrest of a pregnant woman.

In a post shared on X on September, Mr.Osei Akoto described the IGP as having performed beyond the expectations people had of him.
Henry Osei Akoto wrote, “Dampare is a disgrace.”
According to him, the Ghana Police Service and the Judicial Service have contributed to the problems facing Ghanaians.
