Chantal Biya, the First Lady of Cameroon, has recently been at the center of controversy following an alleged outburst related to the arrest of her cousin, Marionne Nyadjock. Nyadjock is implicated in a high-profile fraud case known as the Hervé Mbapou/Rear Admiral Joseph Fouda affair. Frustrated by the lack of progress in securing her cousin’s release, Biya reportedly lost her temper.

According to journalist Boris Bertolt, Chantal Biya confronted Rear Admiral Joseph Fouda in Geneva in a dramatic scene. Entering his room in high heels, she reportedly threatened Fouda, stating, “Since you arrested my daughter, I know the next person you will arrest is my husband.”

Bertolt further claimed that this was not the first time the First Lady had used her signature pointed heels to make a statement. In the past, it was said that she used them to “solve her problems,” with her sharp heels becoming a symbolic tool of persuasion in her dealings.
