Italian football giant AS Roma have sacked head coach Daniele De Rossi following a winless start to the Serie A season.

The club on Wednesday announced the decision after the team failed to secure a victory in their first four league games of the season.
In January 2024 De Rossi took over the team after Jose Mourinho was sacked. He had signed a contract extension through 2027 just this past June.
De Rossi a former Roma player who spent nearly 20 years with the club.
In a press statement, AS Roma stated , “Daniele De Rossi is no longer serving as head coach of the first team.
This decision is aimed at putting the team back on track as quickly as possible during the early part of the season.”
