Adhoc Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining reject claims Organise Labour requested for money to call off strike

Claims by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, has been rejected by the Adhoc Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining.

In a press statement signed by the Committee’s Chairman and Minister for National Security Kan Dapaah described the allegation against Organised Labour as “baseless and unfounded”

The committee assured the public that conversations with Organised Labour were held in good faith, without any bribes.

“The engagement between the Committee and Organised Labour was held in good faith and without inducement,” Hon. Kan-Dapaah said.

He thereby called on the Ghanians to disregard such false statements.
