Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Prof. Ransford Gyampo has revealed he is shocked about comments made by Dr. Ayew about the galamsey menace.
In video that has since gone viral Dr. Ayew Afriyie on a campaign platform accused some person of importing galamseyers into the country from Togo to mine in Ghana’s river bodies.
Dr. Ayew in the video claimed Ghanaian are enjoying clean water and it only a few months ago the rivers became deteriorated. He also specified the NPP will never be banned galamsey not today, not tomorrow.
Prof. Ransford Gyampo reacting to these comments took social media page Facebook and expressed his shock saying, “after a long period of schooling and training, a whole medical Doctor could callously speak gibberish to legitimize illegal mining like that?”.
He additional asserted that excessive partisanship is a bane on educational outcomes and indeed, breeds madness.
